We do a lot of marinated baked meat at our house. Mostly because it’s fast and easy–and once it’s in the oven I don’t have to think about or mess with it any more.
A little sugar and spice to create a tasty marinade that even my children like.
dairy-free * egg-free * gluten-free * nut-free * soy-free
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup horseradish mustard
1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 package boneless, skinless chicken tenders, thawed
• Combine first seven ingredients in the bottom of a baking dish.
• Add 1 package of thawed boneless, skinless chicken tenders to baking dish. Turn chicken to cover well with marinade.
• Bake on 375° for 45-50 minutes or until done.
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, be sure to carefully read the labels for condiments and spices. For example, some mustards and Worchestershire sauces may contain gluten and/or soy and/or carrogeenan (a seaweed-derived food additive difficult for some people to tolerate) and/or fish/shellfish.
